Has anyone used it can recommend a good wide angle lens for the mavic pro? Does anyone have an opinion about using a wide angle lens? Some of the shots I’d like to get would be better if I could get more in the frame. Just a thought. Thanks

The lens on the mavic is fixed, not interchangeable, with a 78º field of view. It is already wide angle.

The Mavic does support changing the view from landscape to portrait, but that would go in the other direction from what you're asking.

Too much glass to add.
That would make the gimbal go crazy.
Composition is way more important then 'getting it all in the frame'.

Then again, you can always fly up and back a bit and achieve the same right? Just like I do with my prime lenses

There are a lot of programs and apps that can stitch pictures into a panorama. I usually use Lightroom but you can probably find other cheap or free open source programs like GIMP. Just go up and take a set of sequential shots and see if you can overlap them.

Use DJI Media Maker for stitching panos - works really well.

Yes, like 2# mentioned, Mavic owns FOV 78.8° 28 mm (35 mm format equivalent) f/2.2 lens, it is already the optimized version with its own design. We don't support modifying the lens. Thanks for the understanding.
