remote wont conect to app nor drone after having to upgrade firmware via sd card to P3X_FW_V01.11.0020 tried reseting remote and manually link but resulted in red/green flashing light on both remote and drone. Customer service left me hanging after 1 hour chatting

i did and remote keeps blinking red green, its connected to some point cause controls the tilt but no app conection

and you tried relinking?

The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the aircraft.

Maybe someone else can help ya.  Don't know about this one. One more thing, but this is unlikely, delete the app and reinstall.  Sorry I couldn't help more.

On my P3P i have the firmware 1.11.20  rc 1.9.2  no issues, but that latest firmware update for the remote is causing problems for guys.

Evidently his problem began after updating also

Did you upgrade the drone successfully? For the RC, please refer to the steps below to reset it:

Try to reset the remote controller.
* Turn on the controller, and make sure the aircraft is off.
* Press C1, C2, and shutter on the controller and then turn the controller off.
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller and link the remote.

If that does not work try to force the controller to update:
* Turn on the controller, and make the aircraft is off.
* Press C1, C2, record and the wheel on the right side of the controller and then turn off the controller.
* Don’t let go of any of the buttons, turn on the controller. Then the controller will be able to update again.
