Wow! OK this is an issue. I think there will be quite a lot of apps out there that will also be affected due to the iphone x screen.

We are willing to hear more feedback and suggestion between IPhone X and spark. Please give us more advice.

Doesn't work with the Mavic and iPhone X.
It gets stuck rendering half the flight controls.
Haven't tried with my spark yet.

I'm sure DJI will get this working.
They are almost married to Apple

For now is ok. I just connect iphone x+spark+rc and it works.

No Problem with the X and the GoApp. You can use all functions.
Nevertheless a optimized app would be nice to use the complete screen!

I'd heard non optimised X apps run with borders.

Why? Where is the problem?

I got the iPhone X and last night I update the spark to the new firmware, today I flew it and I lost control and the Spark crashed against my building, I flew it in the same spot as always. I don’t know what happened but I’m pretty sure that was a mix of new firmware with iPhone X

I just had a thought, If they did optimise the app to run full screen when you then mount it in the RC surely the phone clamps would cover the ends of the screen? this would mean you can't see or use certain features of the app.
I think they will need to keep black borders to solve this issue with the RC.

I have created a concept for what i would think would look good the red rectangle is where the other control buttons like control modes would go to. Hopefully you guys like it!

This problem has reflected to our designated department and hope it will be solved soon.

I could not get the app to fully load on my iPhone X when connected to the RC and the Spark.  When I tried to fly the Spark without the RC, the app crashed and lost connection to the Spark.  Fortunately it was close by and descended to 1 foot by itself.  However, it would not land and I needed to grab it out of the air.  I opened a support request with DJI and received a reply back that iPhone X is not a supported device.  DJI needs to fix this quick!

What! I dropped my 6plus last week, so I only have the x to fly with. Plus the fact the 6plus had a ‘cpu full’ warning! Surely they should support all current Apple devices?
