This request has been forwarded to the engineers. We will add more mobiles as testing and development continues.

Native iPhone X support would be great. Think we will see much more iPhone X in the wild in a few weeks. To be fair the app already “works” on the iPhone X. It just wastes a lot of space. So yeah support is appreciated and a lot of serious developer already updated their apps so it seem to be no real big thing.

Same here, I was disappointed to see that despite the increased screen size of iPhone X, GO4 is exactly displaying as same size as on iPhone 7.  This is due to the virtual home button that sits below application display surface. When optimized for X, this virtual home button can overlay on the app and then display surface of the application increase.
Hope DJI will do a nice job here.

Doesn't work for me at all.. Keep crashing right after showing the live video feed.  I need a fix asap!!

You already deleted the App and did a reinstall from the app store?

The latest version 4.1.17 seems to fix the hang/crash problem.

This is what the Dji Go App could look like on the X.. just a fast mockup.
Notch on both side so you are not limited to one side landscape.

Yes, you are right. It fixed the stuck on iOS 11 devices when you view the image transmission screen.

Your mockup makes no sense, because the video feed has a fixed aspect ratio.
The best (and only) thing they can do is move all the controls and status icons from the left and right edge of the video feed and into the empty space.

Stretching the video is not doable - its aspect ratio is way narrower than iPhone X's screen's aspect ratio.

Sure, can you zoom in a video to get full screen.. even on an iPhone X.
When you take drone footage the important things happen in the middle of the screen, so I could go without the borders.

No it doesn't. Still cannot use. Crashes within minutes of use.

what is the timeline for the updates? Is this going to be on the next update? I don't mind the width of the picture that much, I'm more bothered by the fact that the app is even smaller in landscape because home bar locator on the screen is taking the bottom part of it.

+1 on iPhone X support. Def needed and long past due. iOS has betas for a reason...

How embarrassing DJI, you don’t support the iPhone X’s expanded real estate, but Litchi DOES!! ... and it does it VERY well.  You should be ashamed of yourself that you the MANUFACTURER of the device is beat to the punch by a 3rd party?!?   What, you guys too busy waiting for the closing deal between you and Apple before updating your software?  So THEY handle all your software updates?

come on.. not even Google for Gmail App supports Iphone X screen resolution... so don't get crazy about it.. and use it as is until they can resolve it.. (I am also an Iphone X user, and so far works in the same way as with my old Iphone 7)

They said they added iPhone X compatibility in the last iOS App update but the iPhone X support still delivers a poor & small screen solution. At least the app doesn’t seem to insta crash anymore on my iPhone X. I passed on the Osmo and got another handheld gimpbal because the app looks just like crap on iPhone X and wastes such a lot of screen space. Must be rocket science for the dji app developers to add something other developers need a few days for. To busy to mess up otg support.

Sorry to sound sarcastic but the whole incident shows just such a big knowledge/time/costumer care issue on dji side that I don’t have the biggest faith they can fix bigger problems in a reasonable time frame (i.e. the spontaneous driftings i get with the spark since the last iOS update).

Waiting for compatibility DJI GO with iPhone X for use my phantom 3 PRO...Any news?

so, basically when I start the app the screen is (let's say) full, but once the controller boots up and getting connected to the phone you can see the screen is shrinking a bit to the middle...

do you see the same issue I see?
If not, I am afraid the issue is coming from the iOS 12 beta version I use and needs to be fixed...
