once it's implemented and vendors update theyre software, this should solcve issues for Android users with respect to 5 GHz in EU countries .

It will allow phone to RC to use 5 GHz, and thus the RC to aicraft being in 2.4 GHz.

Meanwhile, the only solution is OTG... DJI, I hope you will make this official soon.

I don't think this will ever happen...

This only showTo my opinion, this only show how slow the implementation of a norm that was voted in 2014 can be !
It only making it's way in main source code now, and it will even take a little more time until manufacturers update they're kernels or regulatory domain mechanisms...

I hope DJI is following this and will reflect that in it's crustalsky devices !
