Because none of dji ways at updating work. Just give me the firmware file and ill update it manually.

I'd rather have my teeth pulled than wait for dji software or app to perform an update.

If firmware files were available, they would be here:  https://www.dji.com/phantom-4/info#downloads
But they aren't.

The P4 is updated with DJI Assistant 2 as it explains on p67 of the manual here:  https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... ser+Manual+v1.6.pdf

This works if you do it properly.

It fails to update every time with dji assitant 2 gets to 98 percent then says update failed.

What's the current firmware of the aircraft and controller? Does the issue remain if update via DJI GO 4? If yes, please refer the below and export the upgrade log for analysis.

Assisstant 2(Windows): .../Users/XXXXXX/AppData/Roaming/DJI Assistant 2/upgrade_log
Assisstant 2(MAC): ~/Library/Application Support/DJI Assistant 2/upgrade_log
