Very new to Drones and being cautious
I see there is an update on IOS(like on Android) to a new version.


1. Should I wait for more experienced user comments..??
2. Do I need to note all settings, there are lots, or are they retained..??

Have read feedback from android users that they experience problems.
Keep your firmware, build up some experience with flying, update later when everything is stable and safe

Very often settings need to be readjusted after firmware updates.

O.K...
Pity there is no easy way to export list for reference...

Settings like MC settings and camera settings are retaining on the drone, so it won't be affected by updating the DJI GO 4 app. But it would be better to give it a check.

Pano mode also needs the drone to run with firmware 1.4.1.0 or above. It will be available soon. Please wait patiently.

Has anyone noticed Quick Shot is 'funny' in 4.1.18? Sometimes it's there in the intelligent flight modes; but sometimes it's not there anymore...

Well I bit the bullet...
Upgraded today... DJI GO4 App 4.1.18 & Latest F/W
All went smoothly, no issues, all looks Good/O.K so far.

iPad Mini 4 Cellular & Wi-Fi ~ 128GB
Model: MK8D2B/A
IOS 10.3.2***
(***to many issues with IOS 11, just Google, inc a big security issue that was quickly fixed, but...!!!)

To many people are quick to blame DJI, they are coding against a moving target...
Will see how 11.x is in a couple of months.
