Hi,

If i understand it correctly, the radar display (i dont know if its the right name but its the one in the bottom left of the screen in the app) shows the position of the aircraft relative to the position of the controller. So it will move depending on my movement and relative to the aircraft,

After updating to dji go 4 ver 4.1.17, the radar stopped working. It doesnt show aircraft relative position. It doesnt move at all even if i turn a full 180 degrees, it shows that the aircraft is still infront of me. My p4 has the latest firmware for the aircraft and controller. No errors. All calibrations done but it still doesnt work.

Ive tried searching online if there is a way to calibrate the compass on my ipad mini 4 on ios11 but could not find any.

Any advise what to do?

Try this. Just a had quick look and checked against my Mini 4 and it's all there. See if it does any good for you.....https://www.isunshare.com/iphone ... in-iphone-ipad.html.   I opened it as per the instructions and all my compass etc was checked in the green slider as default as never had to go into this setting. never had any issues such as you have had with P4P/A and Mavic pro.

Ive come across that guide and akready tried to no success. My ipad’s compass calibration setting is set to on but nothing changed. Appreciate the help sir, thanks!

According to the DJI Go app settings, you can choose to either set your chart in either "north up", or "forward motion" view.  As a former Merchant Marine, I always perferred the "North Up" chart view to keep a constant reference of which direction the drone is in comparison to my position.

He's talking about the map display.
There is no north up setting for the radar display.
It is always showing the direction you are facing with the controller.

Hi Labroides,

was able to toggle the north up setting on the map display. problem is my radar display is not working. it was working fine til i updated to the latest dji go 4 app on my iPad mini 4.

Try deleting the App and reinstalling it, make sure you sync your flights first.

Hi mic75,

By reinstalling the app, will that clear the flight list on my flight records? I would prefer to keep that list if theres a way to save them.

You can synch your flight records (upload them to DJI's cloud) and they will appear on a new tablet or a new install of DJI Go.

That’s why I said to sync them first, after you reinstall the app sync them again and they will return.
