I have been using the OSMO with the X3 camera for a while and recently received an X5 camera as a gift. When put together everything seems to work fine, the focus, taking photos and video, even changing the idk and aperture. However, there is no live video feed, just a black screen. After contacting support they recommended a firmware update. Sounded reasonable enough. However, the problem now is that when I perform the update the lights eventually turn solid red and the OSMO beeps constantly. When I check the log file it says that the update failed. Any help would be appreciated! I told a client that I would use this camera for a shoot this weekend and am worried as time is ticking. Thank you!

How did you update the firmware? Have your tried the method in the following tutorial video?

If the result is still failed, please open the hidden files in your computer and find the log detailed file in \MISC\LOG\. Thank you.

So far nothing other than I have to send it in. No one has diagnosed the problem yet. I believe it to be an issue on the Video Transmission Module. Indicated by the [00 08] device not detected lines.

Specifically, this line: [00033867][08 00][00] device not detected.

Yep, did you talk to DJI Customer Service to get a return number for it to go back? Any idea on cost?

Sorry for the late response, 08 00 and 01 04 show device not detected, which means the image transmission module are not detected, please contact our support to start a ticket and send in for repair.
