Great smooth footage. It's amazing how well the copter performs in cold temps. Btw, just an observation but that lake didn't appear to be that frozen - yikes !

Well its not quite the neigbours pond, but its some nice human interest and a good smooth piece of flying. Do you think the guy has external antenne for his car so he can sit in warm comfort and make these films?

Yes, more like a small lake, for the towns children to enjoy their freedom...

It brings back many fond memories, from my own winters of childhood.
When you are in your youth, all seasons bring huge adventures.

As you are a RedHotPoker, I advise you to stay clear of ice.  You would melt through and that would be that.  You would not be covered under warranty and replacing you would be difficult.

Hi RHP, down in my part of the world It rarely gets over 40 degrees C during the height of summer that's why I chose to move here  over 8 years ago, the only downer at this time of the year are the mongrel flies, they can drive you nuts ha ha

+40*C. No, I have never.... ;-)
It might get below zero here lots yeah, but we have no insects or bugs during winter.
All mosquitos are dormant. Flies don't live in frozen manure. So it's great.

Yes. Doesn't watching this make you want to go lace up a pair of skates, and make a few laps around the frozen lake or river in your location!
