We have updated the system recently and made some changes to the points system, which has caused a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. We are really sorry about this. To build a user-friendly environment and help new users to quickly learn about our forum, we made this guide for you all.

  
  

1.       Registration

  

a. PC

Link: https://account.dji.com/register

  
  

b. Mobile

Download DJI GO/ DJI GO 4/ DJI + App on your mobile device and register your phone number to complete the registration.  

2.       User Groups and Points

a. There is no more point’s limitation on creating threads. As long as you have activated your account, you can create threads.   
  
  
b. Check out your user group

Click on “Personal Homepage,” and then you can see your user group

  

c. How to redeem points to purchase DJI products?

Click on “Personal Homepage” and then “Points”. Press "Exchange" and your request will be submitted for approval. (If it's grayed out you don't have enough points to submit).

  
  

After the audit is approved, you can view the amount of DJI credits that have been redeemed (you can deduct an equal amount when you buy a product at DJI Store)

  

d. How can you earn credits quickly and improve your rank on the forum?

The most effective way is to share your video or photographic content. If your work is selected for “DIGEST,” then you can get 600 points. ("DIGEST" means a mod selected your work to be moved into a special category!)


  

The above screenshot shows where you can check the Digest threads for each category.

  

e. What are the point requirements for each group?

  

3.       Creating Threads

  

a. Choose which category you want and then click on “New Thread.”

  

b. Don’t forget to choose the topic and remember to click on “New Thread” after editing to finish posting your content.

We are sorry for not informing you of the points changes in advance and really appreciate your understanding and support. If you still have problems about this, please reply under this thread or specify your problem by email to djifansforumadmin@dji.com.

The new rules for the points reward system have started from the creation time of this post.

Thanks for the update. A bit confusing

I am unsure what anyone else thinks about this but I lost 450 points in a flash, just because they changed the system...I feel that is a foul, as I'm penalized for nothing other than they changed their system.
I understand they changed the system...but I don't think they understand that whether an old or new system, we earned a certain number of points up to the point of the change and then they just took away points in a moment.  I see that as patently unfair.  They deducted points from us just because they changed the system, so all that work we did up till that point is gone.  Yes we might get it back faster, but that is the point we have to get it back just to return to where we were.  I'm having trouble seeing how this is reasonable.  We should have been grandfathered for this...I find it disappointing to say the least.  In a way I am lucky as I won some points so my loss was lessoned, however, others are not so lucky and that is a shame...

UPDATE: I have been assured that they are working on this and they will see what can be done to straighten things out in a more equitable way.  As such, they simply ask that they have some time to do so.  I agreed to allow that for now and to wait and see how it will be taken care of.  Thus far Grace has been good about working these kinds of things and I think she and they deserve due consideration.

2nd UPDATE: My points were restored to what they were before this change and from reading the other thread on this issue it sounds like others are getting restored too.  Grace is working hard to make this all right!

Grace, can you explain the various 'actions / policies'  under 2.a?
Some are easy (like DIGEST) but what doe the others mean?

But  I'm still waiting for my November exchange to be awarded.

I'm still waiting for my missing points to be restored. It changes daily, as does my status....

I wanted to test the point theory listed here so I posted a new thread (https://forum.dji.com/thread-122996-1-1.html). I recieved only 1 point for posting a new thread, not 5 points. Curious as to why?

I agree, definitely confusing. I will say that the points system hasn't been adding up. I get the 1 point for reply's but I certainly haven't been getting 5 points for posting new threads...

I doubt that this is your fault Grace, and I am happy to see that some of my points were restored. However, according to your Update post, I am not receiving the points that the post suggests that I should be receiving. Also, some of that post is a bit confusing...

1. Details? I don't see that associated to any of my posts or threads.

I'm sure that all of this will hopefully be resolved soon...

I've lost more than 300 points over the last couple of days.... mine hasn't been restored.

What is reward number?

Well, I didn't have too many points to recover but I believe all of my points have been restored!

I think this means that you can only get an x amount of rewards on a per cycle (e.g. daily) basis. So for the comment policy this would mean that you can get a reward (1 coin) 40 times per day.

Oh I see, So you are limited to 40 post replies a day getting points, and besides that it's unlimited to post/ reply in the forum, you just won't get any points for that.

Exactly! But this is my interpretation, so I'm not 100% sure.
