Are there quieter propellers for the phantom 3?
I’m attracting a lot of unwanted spectators due to high noise level.
Any hints to make it quieter?
Thanks,
Rick

You only need to fly a little higher... Or take off, away from the crowds.
Just remember to be a positive drone ambassador, when ever curious strangers amble up...

Wow! Wish I had thought of that!
They do make an optional Quiter propeller for the Mavic, I was hoping they also were made for the phantom 3.

It wouldn't make much difference.
The Phantom's props have to spin a lot faster than the Mavic's to keep the heavy Phantom in the air.

That loud prop noise is a great warning to innocent bystanders...

There will be no voyeurism, when it's the Phantom 3, on the prowl.... Ha

Actually maybe we're going about this all wrong. How about a set of propellers that plays Ride of the Valkyries? I suspect the resultant reaction would be worth it . OK sorry I'll go stand in the corner now

You got luck, that the Phantom is no race copter and much quieter than a racer. As i remember,a discussion about 3-blade props for Phantoms was in the forum here. You can make the props smoother.

Hello Rick, it sounds like a cool idea, but I'd agree with RedHotPoker, the loud prop noise is a great warning for bystanders. Take care when you fly the drone.

When you've seen that signal lost warning, and RTH kicks in, that's one of the sweetest sounds there is.

Let the prop sound as is. I agreed with ALABAMA,not only the RTH kicked in. This noise is warning bystanders and other people go the way the Phantom is taking off or landing.
Animals are not so affected through that sound if you fly high enough, and the P3S has no sensors like P3A/P/SE and P4´s. This is the best advantage if you want to
take shots or clips about animals.

I purchased one of those prop balancer thingys and I could hear the difference. Most of the high-pitch squeal went away.

you should try the carbon fiber reinforced self-tightening propellers, they will be quieter and they will give you more thrust
