Please consider adding a feature to the DJI GO app that would tell us the wind speed and direction. Maybe put an arrow on the screen showing it's direction. With the GPS and the amount of correction being applied to hover the craft, you should be able to compute the wind speed and direction. This would be great to have so that we don't get into situations where we can't fly home because we forget to check the wind on the way back.
Download UAV Forcast and it gives you wind speed for the height you are flying at. Approximate only but a very good app to have. I swear by it for checking before I go out. Gives temps, wind and all sorts of other good stuff. Also shows no fly zones which is also a massive bonus. It's free. You can also change certain parameters within the app.
