Ive had my Spark for 2 weeks & completed 11 flights. From opening the box and setting up to flying over Derwent Dam yesterday I have never been so happy with a tech purchase! I am a professional photographer and the extra point of view this gives me for landscapes is amazing.
I found the set up process nice and easy and have only had one instance of a disconnect with my phone but I still had full control with the remote. Below is a link to the first lot of footage I took. I expect to make a lot more!
Congratulations and welcome to the club! And thank you for sharing your first video. I note it is not running smoothly, maybe something went wrong in rendering?

Thanks, I noticed that too, maybe I need to check the settings in FCP. Any advice is greatly received!
There is a bug in FCP that renders it at 29.98 so unless you manually change the frame rate it stutters... lessened learned. changing it to 23.98 or 30 and its perfect.
Just practicing my flight craft now to get used to movement as im off to the lake district in Jan and this little bugger is gonna rack up some flight time!!

Correction, the Lake district 's website suggests hobby flying even withcamera is permitted subject to the caa's drone code. See link on tech advisor http://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/thingstodo/drones
If I'd known I ' d be there already!
