Are you on Windows 10? Try re-installing the DJI Assistant and check if you get any driver related message. After all it has worked for me.

Thank you. all this has already been done. I have Windows 7. Phantom 4, Mavic - it works.

I m having the same problem, i uninstalled and install using 'safe mode' in window 7 , maybe your antivirus interference when u installed in normal window s mode..hope it helps

In Windows 10 you have to go into settings then reboot to a menu where you have the option to turn on install unsigned drivers. Search for that, it will allow your drivers to install.

Hi, sorry for the trouble that it caused, I would like to verify, what is the version of your DJI Assistant 2? Is it possible if you can provide the screen-shot of what you're seeing when you connect your spark?

I see nothing and there is not a connected device in File Manager.

I just went through this experience and in the end found it to be a simple issue.  I finally used the cable that came with the drone and it connected to my WIN10 system.  Two other cables wouldn't connect although they would charge the battery.  Evidently they weren't sufficient for data.
