Well,
DJI GO 3.1.23 has been working great for a month with the new P3SE on a new Acer Iconia Tab 8.
It is still working fine on my Nexus 7, 2nd Gen and Galaxy Tab A 2016 and Galaxy Tab E.

I logged into DJI Go before leaving the house to fly (just in case).
Got  to a test sight and powered everything up. As DJI Go starts it gives  the error "Unfortunately DJI Go has Stopped". Well Bummer.....
Now, no  amount uninstalling and reinstalling, booting, wiping or restoreing will correct it. In fact, now the Play Store says "This app may not be optimized for your device".
I should have saved my origianal download....another bummer.

This is just a heads up. I'm not looking for a work around because I think I have tried them all.
I DO wonder now what (stable) version Go I should install on the Acer for the SE now??
I sure do like the idea of a "flight only" version of Go.

What WAS working all modes, camera and video:
Phantom SE 1.5.40
DJI Go 3.1.23
Acer Iconia Tab 8 build A1-840FHD
Android 4.4.2 Kernal 3.10.20+

Download the previous version of DJI  from somewhere like app mirror, i didnt   see that in ya list of what ya dids lol

What OS version have your Nexus7 and the Samsung tabs? Newer than KitCat ? May be the Lollypop is the lowest version to use the 3.1.23.

I have gone to an earlier version. I use the apkpure site to download. So far the latest to download and open is 3.1.11.  I'm going to try 3.1.18 tomorrow.

The Nexus is 5.1.1 and the Tabs are 6.0.1. The really frustrating part is DJI Go 3.1.23 was working great for a month before it crashed. It's really not a big deal for me, it just baffles me not knowing why. I'm still working on it and I'll beat it into submission eventually. <g>

Using the airplane mode can avoid many headaches (until the problems of the application be solved)  ...  i Use a Phantom 3 SE in android . movile device : LG g3 S & always use this mode to avoid accidents caused by other parties ... FOR SECURITY

For the Acer you may use an earlier version with disabled auto update function. Go not over 3.1.18. Belllow should be better.

3.1.18 does same. "unfortunately Go has stopped"
3.1.11 loads and flys but 30 feet out loses video "poor video signal". About  200 feet out, disconnect.  
Going to give 3.1.8 a twirl then chalk it up to a deceased Acer.....Something internal to the Acer has to have gone wrong since it was working perfectly on 3.1.23 and now won't even install that version again.

LOL....wouln't think of flying in anythng but airplane mode on an Android. ;-)

This Tab has no cellular module if i read right,but the airplane mode is available om Android. If you try this mode then you must start WIFI manually and connect it with the SE.
Did you log in again to DJI via app yet?

I always fly in airplane mode and with updates turned off. I learned the hard way after powering up and the RC connecting to local WiFi and updating Go and AC!
I'm always logged into Go and keep my cell hotspot turned off when flying.
The firmware and Go combo I have now works great for me and the SE is getting 10+K feet flights with solid video before I bring it back so I'm happy again. Max flight so far with the SE is 10,800 feet solid video and control.
That's as far as I can fly over soy bean, corn and tobacco fields without flying over public roads, homes or private property.  
A HUGE thanks to dion.lazerlight!!if he/she watches this forum.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Now it's back to the air while I have semi-warm days in NC.

Happy flying. If it´s here not so wet then i´ll go out to let the bird fly.
