This is a bit of a difficult question to explain, and I didn't know what to search for in google. I recently have gotten into 360 photography with my drone, and due to the hole in the sky in the final spherical photo (because the camera can't shoot directly up), I would like to make a custom image to put in place of the blank space, like my company logo and sky blue color surrounding it. Anybody have any solutions on how to make said image? It would be in place of the white in the picture below. Thanks

An example of this is Hangar 360 and their logo which fills in the blank space (https://hangar.com/hangar360/)

Here’s a YouTube tutorial for Serif Affinity Photo that might help. Those trees extending well above the horizon aren’t going to fare well though.

Hi lewis.bv, all you need to do is steal a suitable sky in high definition from the internet, there are many available. (Google search for 360 high definition skies). Then you need a program like photoshop or equivalent and you integrate your image with the “stolen/borrowed/purchased or license free” sky image. It is quite easy but the details are critical and difficult to explain, so I suggest you watch this film.

The example you have above would not be easy because the trees are cropped. I have also made photos of the sky from the ground with a 4k camera similar to an Osmo, and integrated these with the pictures taken from the drone. I do not believe this is possible with “hanger360”, I use PTGui which is a very capable commercial software. There is a test version for both pc and mac with watermarked images. The costs are not astronomic, between 75 - 200 Euro, depending on version and where you live. I typically end up with a final stitched image of around 22000 x 11000 pixels using about 45 photos. The software sorts and puts the pictures together automatically, corrects the exposure and tone throughout and a lot more. Check it out:
