Quick question before the "After Christmas onslaught":
I dug out my Mini 3 to compare to my Shield. The Mini is running IOS 10.3.3 and I'm not upgrading to 11.?.? yet.

When I download Go and install it all goes normal until it starts asking permission to access photos etc.
There is says "Go 4" wants permission......
Is this a quirk in the IOS version or is it really Go 4?
I didn not select Go 4 at download.
I haven't played with IOS in a couple of years so any help appreciated.

There is a go 4 before P4 or after P4, so if you have P3 then choose before P4 so yeah, its now Go 4 i believe

That's the one I chose. "Before P4". But when it starts asking permissions it says "Go 4 wants permission...."
Even though I downloaded "Before P4"

Its still Go 4 just a before and after the P4 versions

the 4 is just the version of app

DJI Go is for the P3 series. When the P4 was first introduced DJI Go was the only application, and for a while it was used to control the P4. Then DJI Go 4 was introduced for the P4 Pro and P4 Advanced, at which point DJI Go was phased out for the P4 in favour of DJI Go 4.

They are two different applications, so if you have a P3 aircraft you need DJI Go, if you have any of the P4 series then you need DJI Go 4.

I did not down load DJI Go 4. I downloaded DJI Go  (3.2.23) for IOS

The APP is 3.1.23. The firmware is 1.5.40 (DJI Go IOS shows "unknown" Android shows 1.5.40)
Everything seems to work fine, I was just curious. Didn't mean to start a project ;-)
