No --- The "Weak Image Transmission signal" message is still present.

I haven't installed 4.1.22 yet, but did save version 4.1.20 to another folder on my hard drive after downloading 4.1.22 from the iTunes App store. Just in case I need to roll back.
I'll update DJI Go 4 on my iPad Air 2 later today.

search for iMazing or ifunbox regarding app rollback. lots of tuts out there already...

In Main Controller Settings, there is a Multiple Flight Modes switch that gives you a P (Positioning Mode, A (Attitude Mode) and F (Function Mode...similar to P but with access to Intelligent Modes).  An arrow points to the upper left of the RC with a drawing of a switch or roller (?) labelled P A F.  Don't know what this is or how it works?

Okay...I do have my RC and when I turn it on, this feature goes away.

Since I sync and install apps on my iOS devices using iTunes on my iMac, it's easy to capture the older app when a new version comes out.
1) In iTunes (versions 12.6.3 and older), download the new app version. The old version will get moved to the Trash.
2) Open the trash (from the dock) and drag the old version into whichever folder you'd like for safe keeping.
3) In the future, if you want to roll back to the older version of an app, locate the iTunes music folder in your home directory, then locate the Mobile Applications folder.  Move the newer version to another folder or desktop. Move the older version into the Mobile Applications folder. Resync your iOS device and the old version should replace the new one on the device.

I've done this with a weather radar app a few months ago.  It worked very well.

A variation of this is to copy the old version out of the iTunes Mobile Applications folder BEFORE downloading the new version from the iTunes App store.

That's all I can think of at the moment.  Hope this helps.

you need to mention that this only works with iTunes up to 12.6.3.
iTunes 12.7 onward does not have AppStore anymore!

Yes, you are correct.  I've avoided iTunes 12.7 and newer for that very reason.  Thank you for reminding me.

You dont have the 'three-way' switch!
But dont switch the in app switch off, leave it 'on' (green)
Otherwise it will disable your sport mode switch.
And you should see this only, if using a otg cable.
minimum on android it is like that

IOS, after update to .22 unable to connect to RC wifi, password (12341234) is rejected..Update: Works now, i just had to be more patient.

Besides the start up screens I'm not seeing much changes, to cold to fly here now.  Has anyone flown with the udpate?

Friend please do you have the IPA to give me? could you send it to me? I installed 4.22 and it was horrible! my email - ricardoghion@hotmail.com could you please do this?

only did some basic tests inside. seems to work. same "weak signal" when using OTG.
two things i noticed.
1) wifi connection between RC and iphone6s seems more stable, i did not get interferences notice with the dozens of other wifis around me, and no dropouts. with 4.1.20 i got interrupts every 5-10sec
2) im getting weak GPS signal inside. with previous 4.1.20 i did not get any GPS whatsoever at the same location.

cant test it outside atm, to bad weather...

hea ? "weak signal message (wifi)" with OTG has nothing to do with GPS

never got GPS inside, now it does (weak, but its does)  but still this is has NOTHING to do with the "weak singnal message" when connected by OTG

besides weak GPS inside IS an issuse, id rather have no GPS singal than a weak one, keeps on changing between Atti and GPS every few seconds, thats not good.
wahts missing is a switch to turn of GPS, that would be helpful!

When I hit reply it only quoted the 1st line of your comment.  Point being is that GPS should NEVER be relied upon when flying indoors.

LOL...Can't be an issue if it was never meant to be.  Try using a Garmin indoors.

well for me OTG works, only the irritating "weak signal" message. I simply ignore it and OTG works ;)
but sure they could finally fix that, shouldnt be to to hard...

seems to me with the new update (probably the firmware not the app) that Vision doesnt work as
stable at it used to be. i got quite a bit of drift inside. used to be much more stable. But this is only my
subjective impression, its not drifting very badly, i can compensate easily. (maybe its the full moon ;) )
this switching back and forth between Atti, Opti and GPS is just irritating. havnt noticed that with v4.1.20...

afaik, that is not possible, since the ipa is signed with your own certificate, which is locked in hardware on your phone. so you cant just take any ipa from someone else not even from an other device you own, it would not work, sorry.

i tried the new app on my iphone 8 now, no battery voltage showing on otg, drifting alot  when on wifi even with gps on, also drone seems to keep turning for about 5 to 10mm after stopping. the video lag seems to be alot less on wifi compared to before but will stick to my reliable 4.1.15 on Android for now with otg. wish i could get the 4.1.15 app for ios, Does anyone have that app to load?

i don't believe this rating is just on .22 but the app as a whole.  BTW, anyone test flown .22 version yet?

I would agree with you. It seems like opti mode doesn't hold it as stable on the latest firmware. Used to hover rock solid in place even in less than ideal lighting and surfaces. Now it tends to drift and I find myself having to make many more minor adjustments to keep it steady for the picture I want. Not sure if related, but moving it with my palm in gesture mode also seems less reliable.

well! i guess we can conclude that dji's statement of working on the otg actually means there attempting to improve the wifi.
i'm hoping a imu cal will sort the drift your witnessing, fingers crossed.
