Hi guys,
have flown R/C for quite a while so not having issues with the flying part.  However, the gimbal positioning does not seem able to tilt above horizontal (0 deg.)  On the app, the tilt level above 0 appears greyed out.  The gimbal does tilt down to the full -90 deg, and when holding the Mavic, if I tilt the aircraft nose down, the gimbal will tilt up to keep the photo reference level.

Basically, my questions are,
1. Should the gimbal be able to tilt up +30 deg when the A/C is level?  The manual appears to show that as available.  
2. Why would the indicator in the app be appearing greyed out?

I "think" it is for the FPV/airplane mode with the goggles connected? Or the grey FPV model of the DJI goggles.......?????
As it is now, just the standalone mavic ac, it won't go above level with the horizon...

Set with AC, RC and device turned on and connected.

I will have to check that out. There have been times I wished it could tlit up...

Yes, please go to Gimbal Settings to enable the upwards limit to 30 degrees, set it up when connecting the drone, RC and app. Also, you can refer to the tutorial that Woe posted above. Hope it provides you with some info.

and am i not correct on that pic, if he enables the 30 degree tilt then the camera will tilt up. i know mine does    Greg

Correct it will tilt 30 degrees up.
