Hey guys,

A few days ago i bought myself a Phantom 2 with Gimbal. I want FPV through my iPad or iPhone, altough the internet is very unclear about what i should use or need to do it.

I have ordered the iOSD Mini already, what else do i need to stream video to my ipad or iphone. What can i do with the datalink?

I think you are going to be disappointed about getting the view through your iPad.. Your choice with a tablet is pretty much limited to Light Bridge.. that unless they drop the price. (they should) it's North of 1000 bills.

What most do is buy a Video Transmitter, 5.8Mhz, and a receiver or receiver/monitor combo, or goggles with receiver in them.  (Black Pearl monitor with 2x Reciever is what I have)

The iOSD Mini is meant to work with analogue Video.

It says its for the ipad. Right?

The groundstation software is for route planning. It does do some telemetry but no FPV video. Check out this link. Everything you need for FPV.....
