I flew my mavic with my googles. When I was notified of a low battery, I asked it to turn back and I turn off the remote control and goggles. When it did not return, I turned on remote control and goggles and saw that it landed. I do not know where. Some tips on what I can do.?

Why didn't you just fly it back? Why did you turn the rc off?
Depending on rth settings, it can just land, or hover, or return to home.
depends on what you had it set to.
Did you have some loaded maps to help you find it?
It should tell you the coordinates of where it is....

Agreed why did you turn off the controller? Have you tried searching with the maps.

Try this: open the app - when the entry screen (with image of spark) then click on the menu (3 paralel lines at top right of screen) with menu opened there is an option FIND MY DRONE. open this and see if it helps.

Just so I'm clear - you were flying the Mavic whilst wearing googles. You had a low battery RTH initiate and as the drone was returning to the home point you decided to switch off the remote controller and goggles and wait for it to fly back without any connection between anything in your hands and the drone you were flying?  The best tips I can possibly give you is to read the manual and NEVER turn off the remote controller whilst you have a drone in flight that you are responsible for. As for finding it - try 'find my drone' in the academy section of the app, details are in the manual - good luck.

I mean guys maybe it's a good thing that he lost his drone. He probably didn't read anything about the quad and trusts way too much the drone's automated features...

I would walk in a straight line as shown on the map above and keep going until you either trip over the drone or you come across some water where you would be advised to paddle until your hat floats!

Why on earth would you switch your TX off ?

When the remote control was turned off, what happens. Will it continue home or will it stop.?

It’s never a good thing when someone loses their drone but the OP has a lot of reading to do before he takes off again or this won’t be the last drone he loses!

It should return home as I understand it however, by turning off the TX you lose any link you have with the drone and thereby you have zero control over something that could hit and damage another person or their property.
I guess you need to read what happens and maybe practice flying closer to you before flying out of sight.

Thank you for your advice. The remote control had contact with the dronning just before it went down, but the phone was not connected. Is there no information in the remote control.?

Bigga's correct: unless you've configured it to do otherwise, turning off the remote will cause it to initiate RTH. Upload the flight log (TXT file from you mobile device) to PhantomHelp using these instructions, post a link to the flight log in this thread, and someone may be able to suggest where to look for your lost drone.
