Trying to experiment with topo and contour lines. Been through a few map trials. DD, P4D and PrecisionHawk. As best as I can tell Hawk is the only one that offers the DEM/DSM data...which must be imported into GIS. Spent a couple days learning the basics of ArcGIS and Quick Terrain and of course when the time came to work with topo/contours I learned that it's not available in the trial plan, although I'm sure I saw it advertised as so.
Hawk is supposed to supply the data that can be imported into QGIS but even their ortho data was extremely grainy...poor resolution. Getting to look like a wild goose chase. Thoughts.
