I'm currently in to still shots.  I plan to use the burst shooting function.  I can see it shoots 3, 5 or 7 shots but what is the speed per second of these shots?  Can anybody shed any light on this?

Half second apart, quarter second apart? it makes a hige diference for actions stills.  Much more important than the number of shots by the way.

Cheers

3 shots per second is one shot every 1/3 seconds (every .333s); 5 shots per second is one shot every 1/5 seconds (every .2s); 7 shots per second is one shot every 1/7 seconds (.143s)...maybe I don't understand the question?

Are you asking what the shutter speed is? If so, with a fixed aperture lens, like I believe the P3 has, shutter speed will be a function of ISO chosen and available light (ambient light level).

Yes, maybe you don't quite understand dm.

See what Aldryn says down towards the end of this article for his comments on bracket shots.

It's good for still shooters and with the camera trigger on the Tx, no need to take your hands off the controls.

This answers my question thanks guys.  :-)

No not shutter speed or aperture, it was the time between each frame and you’ve answer that thank you.

Yes, love the trigger and 12Mp if fine with a high quality lens. I’ve even seen people lift stills from 4k video.  Thanks for the link too.

Hi. The camera can shoot 3, 5 or 7 pics per second, but does anyone know for how long it can shoot in burst mode before the memory needs time to “reload”? I would like to shoot as many pictures as possible flying on a fixed path (10mins or something). The overlap is needed when I later stich these photos
