Not sure what happened to my post. I just bought a Phantom 4 pro last Sunday. One thing that has troubled me is that my camera/gimble points left about 4 degress. I calibrated the gimble a few times and doesn't seem to make any difference.

Is there a way to fix this, or do i need to exchange it ?

-thank you !

A hard hit in transit may have mis-aligned the gimbal mechanism. Try:

With all gimbal constraints removed and craft powered OFF,  gentle turn the gimbal on its X axis (left-right) to each side extremity, focusing on the side it's facing away from;
Power everything up, tilt the craft back on it's hind prop arms so that the camera is then pointing 45 degrees up;
Use the DJI GO 4 app to do a gimbal calibration.

If it isn't looking better, then try another gimbal calibration while it's sitting back as normal.

A new option is now available on the app. When you have the Drone on and connected, you can go into gimbal settings and simply adjust the gimbal in increments to the right or left as desired. its that easy. no need for anything drastic at all.

The video below shows how to adjust the gimbal levels. it can be done from within the app and no need for extreme measures

Sorry, but I don't have a P4, however on the P3P gimbal there is a set screw which tightens on a flat section of the vertical shaft. This can loosen (crash, transport) causing the shaft to seat off-axis and could be the problem if there a similar system for the P4. I have attached a photo below for the P3P, maybe someone with P4 expertise could comment.

Thanks for your help, but it didn't seem to fix the issue.

#3 and #5, the horizontal is fine. My problem is like driving a car forward, and then turn your head left 4 degrees while driving.

Why don't you use the yaw adjustment in DJI Go 4 under "Adjust Gimbal" tap on the greyed out 'yaw' to the right of 'Roll' ?

See Here

There is no yaw adjustment in my ios GO4 4.1.22Only tilt.
Calibration with the drone pointing upwards, helps only for one or two flights. The misalignment reappears.

I've just remembered I think it may be iOS version only.

Edit:- I've just checked this on my Android Nexus 7 MkII (2013?) and it is there too.

You can adjust the gimbal tilt on the DJI Go 4 app under gimbal settings. Just go digging and find it

Sir, did it turn its head left 4 degrees when you put your drone on the desk? Please provide a picture or video of the camera.
