I switched my order from the advanced to the professional  and Im just wondering ig the increased charging speed from the professional charger will have a negative effect on battery life and flight times?  Ive alwasy thought it was better to charge batteries slowly?

In lithium batteries you  get better life and capacity if you charge slower.

You are charging at 1C, that will not harm the battery.
