Hi when you are in auto batterie discharging dose the battery need to be in the drone or can it be in your bag

The battery will auto-discharge wherever it is.

It is generally accepted good practice to remove battery from AC when not in use.

General advice about storage of lipo's when not in use is in safe area or container.

It is better removed from the AC and placed in safe location dry and await from sources of heat.
