Q: I want to order thenew Mavic Air Pro more combo but... there are serveral types of Dji Goggles. Wich one is the best part for this new bird??

...and how does a typical shot using the Goggles work? Is it like I am flying - FPV? Is it like a separate camera operator without yaw? Or with yaw? Or all of the above? ....????

Either work. It's like flying FPV (in the cockpit of the drone) - very immersive. Works best with OcuSync transmission tech which is presently only found on the Mavic Pro/Platinum but compatible with Enhanced WiFi and lightbridge.

Congrats. You will have fun with them. Just take your time and get familiar with that controls of the goggles. I have the race edition and they’re a blast.

If you only plan to use the Goggles with DJI products the white ones are fine.  The black Racing Edition model adds the ability to connect to analog FPV systems used in racing drones.

Hi that’s great news that the dji goggles work with the Mavic Air and that head tracking works too.It was the only thing that I was waiting for before ordering the Mavic Air.I could not see any you tube videos showing someone flying a Mavic Air and using the dji goggles.Does anyone know what distance you can fly the Mavic Air using the dji goggles?thanks.

Spec's told me that the max. distance for following the Air with goggles, should be 2,5 Km (6562 ft).
