4.2.4 is just for Mavic Air. None of other drones received any changes so it's useless upgrade for anyone except Mavic Air owners.
Last useful Spark specific DJI GO 4 app is 4.1.15.
its great when i open the go4 app the home screen is ma and the selected drone goes to the ma by default... awesome glad they released a new drone 2 weeks after i got the spark
So disappointed that there is nothing done regarding the otg for the spark. Since losing the otg I cant even get 400 metres. Was waiting patiently for an update with the hopes of otg returning. Android playstore does not have the 4.1.15 version of the app.

Enjoy your bird!
I mean, MA will take a while to ship so you are actually in advance as you are able to fly your bird NOW.
Now that the latest Android update has been released, 4.2.4, and it has not made OTG operational and so not supported I would be of the opinion that OTG will never be supported and offered for Spark users. It's time to forget about Spark OTG and try to enjoy what connectivity we do have.

No, on CS the app is embedded in the firmware and is a special version for CS. It has to come from DJI directly and I hope they will provide the update soon because my Mavic Air should be shipped on Monday if they keep their promise.
OTG support is not a hardware issue, it is an app related issue. CS of course supports OTG like any other Android device, just the app has to support it. This is what matters.
