I really like it , I thought about black, but had to ask myself how easy would it be to see against a dark back ground. Have you flown it yet, painted like that? If so how easy was it to see at distance? Nice job

Looks great, I did the same paint job on a 74 VW Beetle I had when I was a kid.
I just had a "Flashback" (go figure - lol)

I took a look inside, but it was too tricky to remove one of the pieces. So I opted for masking it up, except for the rear fan grill which I hand painted.

When I get the strip-down written up, it will have photos of every step I took.

Thanks Bob. Back in the 70's I also painted a Beetle. I sprayed it black and then painted emerald green flames on the front.

That looks great.  I especially love the '8 Ball' idea for the camera.  Nice job.

Hi Jim.

Unfortunately the photo was taken with my Nikon DSLR, not the Inspire. As I was away for a few days with my family, I only took my usual gear.

In my posts, at the bottom there is a section which lists the EXIF data for the stills I take/post on my website. I always include this to aid others in getting the right settings for their camera.

Note: Unsure if the Inspire camera captchers EXIF data or not at this time, so I will have to experiment with the stills it can take. I use a nice WP Plugin called - Exifography, which can be set to show various EXIF data automatically on a WP website.

Yeah, saw it was taken with the Nikon, just would have loved to get out there with the Inspire.   We had a semi foggy morning in Sydney a few weeks back and I got some footage, but would love to get more.

Those fogy images in the cemetery setting are really awesome.

Music choice is also very suitable.  What is the music source Jim ?  Could you post it or say where it can be downloaded.
