Hello. I have a brand new p4 advance. I have grey bars and strange still images. Happens in every photo when flying, never happens inside. Good connection and my monitor looks perfect.

Often when taking stills there is a delay like its thinking.

Also I don't think it's taking all pictures. I took around 10 but it only put 5 on ad card. And I tried taking a video while flying and it said it was to short to load on computer it wouldn't load. It was 230mb in size 1080p.

One observation I make is that the filesize for the two images is identical.  Is there some limiting factor which is preventing the storage of larger filesizes?  It;s pretty unusual for two to be identical in size - are the others the same size too?  Are they perhaps the thumbnails rather than the actual pictures?

These 2 pictures are written as truncated infos  for the colors of the pixels  in that parts of the gray bars. Does the card has sector errors ? Did you check the card for errors yet?

What make and size of card are you using ?

As written between the lines in other replies it look like your card is not fast enough for the job.
If it has worked before and a reformat don't solve it the card might has got a defect.

It's the card that came with it. SanDisk extreme.

I could have accidentally uploaded the thumbnails by mistake.

How come it seems to take good pictures inside but not when flying?

I'll try to reformat card and give it a try.
