Hi Everyone...

I have the P4P Plus and I want to use the new features like spherical o panorama shots but is impossible because currently my DJI GO Version is  4.1.15 and I need the 4.1.18 version or highter for use these new features...


Someone can help me please

If you decide to delete the app, and reinstall it's new version, synch your flights first. ;-)

Delete all internet cache and cookies then reboot your device and install the new app.

This should works on my P4P Plus? I dont see where delete the app

Just the app update at the v4.1.15 and nothing else, what should I do?

I thought DJI updated the controller firmware to allow separate updating of the GO app. Why doesn't DJI allow the GO app to update to the latest android version?

For these details I regret having bought P4P + ....

I tried your instructions but always my RC detect the V 4.1.15  

You can't do anything but wait for DJI's developers to get their work done

btw. why do you want v 4.1.18?,, release notes tell you need >= 4.1.20 for the pano mode (that already is in AC) to work.

I think that just was a release note claim made to trick the users to do a update ... I also would expect it was a change in order to use the regular Android version but apparently not.



Wondering how they whould manage to put "Improved user experience" into a FW and what it cover, i think that not using the build in editor, even App 4.1.15 is not worth the risk of trouble.

I would think that an available update banner would appear on your display. You will need a Wi-Fi connection.

Man, some of you can sure find trouble. Or it finds you....


I hope that you figure out a method to correct your shortcomings, or DJI get their act together soon.  Chuckles

Hi, the latest app for P4P+ is v4.1.15, we have forwarded the request for Phantom 4 Pro Plus app update. If the new app releases, and your RC has detected the update, then you will be able to update it.

The P4P+ controller is simply a modified build of android, why can't the update schedule follow the same pattern as the play store?

Pretty disappointing considering some of us paid AUD$500 extra just to be out of date?

I have the same problem. P4P+ but we are stuck with an old version of the app, which lacks features. Please, can you release this version? And what about other QuickShot modes, there is several threads where this was promised a while back already!!

And the chance to use RC's SD card slot as external memory. Only 16Gb mean a lot of trouble when put at work...DJI must allow us to be able to expand system memory when required...
Videocache on SD is also on the basic missing stuffs (available on regular P4P, but not on P4P+ , many times discussed on forum and always ignored by DJI, unless is to be discoverred, P4P+ hardware's RC design limitations are unsurpassable).

I agree.  Provide us P4P+ customers with the newest Android GO 4 App Version 4.1.22 with the PANORAMA shooting mode, among others.

Wait patiently ;-) we will have 4.2.5 after six months

And then they tell me to try another device or they ask me questions about what phone I'm using.

I don't think the DJI Help Desk people have ever seen a Plus Model Controller.

And to date, I have not been able to find out how to install the latest GO 4 App, even when they suggest I update the APP. The download tab for the Phantom 4 Pro+ shows only what I already have...  Anyway, I'm sure others understand the frustration.

Did you ever get your controller to update the go 4 app?

still having this issue. cannot get my controller for pro + to even recognize any "new" software. Maps are still long gone. This is a safety hazard and we should be reimbursed.
