So, I was flying I had just calibrated my Pantom, and had 8 satelites. I let it hover less than 6ft from ground for atleast 30 seconds, bare in mind the wind is minimal I took it up about 45 ft where suddenly my Phantom decided to backflip when I wasnt touching any of the controls. So anyone know what the problem could have been from and the repair costs...

Just so you know the ribbon cable has snapped and the camera too on its own as you'd have assumed.

Do you have any video of the crash from the Phantom ?
A photo of the damage would also help.
I guess we are talking Vision +, so the camera and gimbal unit come as one for around £400.

While it's easiest to install a brand new camera -- it's certainly not an inexpensive route to go. You can find them on Amazon if that's what you'd like to do though.

I'd recommend you contact a repair shop to see what they would charge to fix it. That'll at least let you compare the cost of a fix to a brand new camera/gimbal. You can find some good repair shops here:
