It flashes for a second then it doesn't actually charge.  Could be something going on with my battery since it's a 6 plus a a bit older.

Hi, you are using the iOS device right? For Mavic Air RC, it will charge the Android devices bu will not for iOS devices. So it is normal if your device is an iPhone 6 Plus, no worries.

Same for me. Very disappointed that the RC will not charge my phone. With my P4, my iPhone was always 100% charged...
