You sent me a Spark under Care Refresh.

For some reason it didn't have the latest firmware (why not?).
I have followed the procedure to update it and now the RC will not link with the Spark.

The Spark just sits there with all 4 lights on steady red.

And it gets very hot.

And when I "Press and hold the function button at the rear of the aircraft until you hear a beep", there is NO BEEP even if I press and hold for 30 seconds or more. So I can not even try re-linking it.

Suggestions please? Not happy about this at all.

I just tried to connect the Spark to DJI Assistant on Macbook Pro, "DJI Assistant 2 v1.2.0" from the downloads page. It won't connect. Stays all 4 LEDs red, just nothing.

Actually, not "nothing" -- it connects to the memory card, and I can see the contents on the Mac, so I know the USB connection is working.

I am sorry to hear this. Do you have another battery to try with? If yes, please try. If the issue persists, and there is no D beeping even after a long press, you might need to send the drone in again.
