Any tips, rules and regulation or common mistakes for traveling with a Spark. I plan to put everything in my checked bag.

Did some research, batteries must be carried on. I will carry the whole thing.

Lithium batteries can not be in your checked bag.. you must carry them.. best to carry them discharged and even better in a fire proof bag

Fire bags are cheap safety precaution, you wouldn't want to be "that guy" I think they are about $10 on ebay.

Carry it on. Just flew to Japan and back with mine. No problems and not even a question about it.

I’ve flown with my Spark and three batteries as carry on several times without any problems or questions.  As already mentioned, batteries aren’t permitted in checked baggage.

Most airlines require the the battery terminals to be covered, and all will ask that batteries are discharged below 50%. This includes the transmitter batteries as it also has a lipo battery. I just carried on the spark In its shoulder bag in my carry on. Nobody checked or asked about the batteries.

Yeah, no batteries are allowed in you check in luggages as long as you have them with you they won't bother you.

We love you Electra, but I think you are a little off, on this discusiin, I could be wrong, I've had a few adult beverages tonight.
