Anyone had this issue with updating to latest firmware.
Have "successfully" updated via DJI Go to 1.00.200 and in the "about"  screen it confirms the correct version of the firmware.
But when I restart the AC & RC it still shows that an update is required. I have done this twice and it does the same thing.
Any ideas please?

UPDATE:- Third time lucky - did update again but thru DJI Assistant and all ok.

So the issue is now resolved, right? You can also check the firmware info on the DJI GO 4, General Settings, About. The latest firmware is v01.00.0200 for drone, v01.00.0100 for RC. If you have more than one battery, please refresh the firmware via DJI Assistant 2 with the other batteries. Thank you.

When I attempted to update from v01.04.0100 to V01.04.0200, both the AC & RC showed up as V01.04.0200 in the "About"

Had no problems with doing the first update via the app for the MA so decided to try the dji assistant 2 for the latest update, the MA went fine but unable for some reason to get the controller connected to the computer, plug it in and all that kept happening  was getting that connected/not connected ding dong from the computer... tried a uninstall/reinstall of dji assistant 2 just the same so reverted back to the app update and was fine...

Does that mean we should update the Mavic Air drone firmware several times, each with a different battery?

The latest firmware update did not concern the batteries, but the first one did. You can check easily with all batteries by connecting the MA to DJI Assistant.
