I shot a video with my new Mavic air. The video saved on the phone is fine but the video on the SD card is of bad quality (i see square on some part of the image, image is freezing for a few seconds, ...). I attach an example.
I used a Toshiba 30MB/s HC1 card.
It would be great to get your opinion on why the video are of bad quality.

I would think that the card is the "choke point"?
30 mb/sec seems kind of slow....?
Did you format the card in the AC?

The SD card is far too slow and you should see a warning message in GO 4. The writing speed of the MA is 100 mb/sec.

If the card is 30MB/s (megabytes) then it is fast enough. 30MB/s is 240 Mb/s (megabits)
They give MBs on the card not Mb.

On the other hand this is probably read speed not write speed, which is always much slower. Its worth checking if card write speed is at least 15MB/s.

But is HC1 not the same like U1? And U1 should be so slow! U3 is recommented.

d not try by my own but plan to test next week the difference.

I also checked the videos on the internal memory of the Mavic Air and some have the same issue as the ones on the SD card (see attachment).
Do you think it's an issue with the product?

When i play the video on my phone (copy it from the Mavic Air to my phone's SD card) it is ok so it must just be my desktop... weird

Try another PC / device. My PC has the same issue but the files play fine on my laptop

Well, you know the unexpected system shutdown or any other interruption can cause this issue. Or when you try to download/transfer the videos can also one of the main reasons that can cause bad quality video issues. In that circumstance, it is better to again download or transfer the videos from the source to the desired location. So, just try this to easily fix your video problem. All the very best to you...
