Mine was like that straight out the box, sent back to dji first time and they did nothing, so I went to a local dealer and they said my RC is faulty, so I brought a new one, but same results, so now they sent it back to dji, had it since August and all this time it's been getting repaired !!!! Over it, also I've tried multiple devices, iPhone, I pads, Samsungs, Xiaomi notes etc and it makes no difference

If you go back to my post #2, I said the phone or tablet has nothing to do with range issues.
