Does anyone have an idea how many?

I keep thinking that when ever someone unfortunatly reports a problem on the Forum.
The ratio of satisfied users to those who have a major problem has to be farely high?

I heard that when the Phantom was launched in 2012 that they were selling 8,000 per month.
This must build the population of Phantoms in each country up by a good deal each month.
I was thinking that if dji sold 8,000 a month since 2012 there must be around 384,000 units out there.
(It has been reported that there are 6,000 in Switzland alone.)

The math is fairly easy....at least looking forward.
It's thought that DJI will do a billion dollars in 2015/2016 (mid year to mid year)....maybe more.
They will likely sell a million Phantoms.

Granted, that's a wild guess.......
I think they sold 350,000+ or so in 2014...plus some Inspires and other stuff

So, yeah, if you make the next "must have" accessory add-on you should have at least a small market.

The issue seems to be customer service. Yes granted the ratio of faults seems to be small but the service someone gets with a faulty Phantom seems to be more dissatisfied than satisfied. These figures may be skewed but a lot of the accounts are less than satisfactory.

DJI have grown too fast and are experiencing growing pains.
