I've noticed that there is no swipe to left menu in the Mavic Air part of DJI GO 4 app, as there was in the Mavic Pro? I think that this is needed very much since the Air's controller lacks a lot of its customization buttons.
Also, why would they remove Course lock and POI from the Air? Will they come in a future update? or should I sell my Air and wait for the pro 2?
I'd like to see these two very useful features in/for Mavic Air too... I don't understand why they are missing. There seem to be no technical reasons for that.
May come with future FW updates - I personally wouldn't sell a drone (at a loss) just because it never had course lock. I think quick shot circle replaces POI on the MA.

There are two simple ways around what you are missing.
1/ POI , Just set active track on the subject and use profile mode to circle it. (you also have the use of spiral)
POI is available on the MA, waypoints is missing sadly. I miss the app features, the swipe left feature. Which is needed badly since the remote lacks a lot of customizable buttons

What precisely are you meaning with -swipe left feature-? Sorry should this be a stupid question, but I have no idea what you are referring to.

In the Mavic Pro, you can swipe your fingers from the right to the left and a hidden menu will be revealed with many shortcuts. This is missing when you’re flying the Mavic Air.
These features can probably be covered in fw updates however i think that the reason they are not added is mainly a business/marketing decision to avoid cannibalizing other products.

I've also noticed the swipe left feature is missing in the Air, and I also think it'll be good to have more features added to the Air in future updates. But then again, we can't expect the Air to have all the features from the more expensive models. It's like asking Microsoft to give you all the features of a Pro version of Windows when you only purchased a license for the Home version.
