Now I understand why so many on the forum have a whole coop of birds.

Sent Spark out for service (grindy cooling fan / rc cx issues) - 2 days ago - today I have symptoms: irritability, lack of focus, anxiety, etc... Actually found myself trying to rationalize making a 100 mile round-trip trek to purchase another just so I can sit indoors with it while we enjoy another rotten week of high winds/rain/sleet.

Maybe liquor and the Olympics will see me through, for now.

You can always launch your smart phone on a party balloon!!!  Just have your handy pellet gun close by!!!

i will try - thank you. i really should be using the time to get over the DaVinci Resolve learning curve, so i can properly edit a video!

The weather here has not been drone friendly for months.  I have had my spark for about 2 months.  I am dying for the weather to break, color to start appearing and the chance to get outside and play.  

Soon.

When the weather doesn't agree, I spend all my time at my computer editing terabytes of footage I have backed up. Not only drone footage, I have loads and loads of GoPro footage from different places that I've never edited. It helps a little.

I hear tales of these things called "digital cameras"... $500 - $1,000 and up things we used to use to take pictures and video with on ground level.

Here's a solution get another drone as a backup....I'm going to consider.

I'm with you on this weather sucks here also, can't wait until the warmer weather.

I know that feeling....

Changing fan on spark is the easiest repair to do...

Drone addiction? No such thing, says the guy who has four of them and will probably buy the MP2 when it comes out. When the weather's bad, I fly either the Spark or Mavic Air indoors - the dogs do not like it, but, hey, I'm the master.
