How do I link my racing drones to Goggles RE?

I figured I could link the drones directly to the goggles on 5.8 frequency. Am I being too naïve?

5.8 frequency is certainly an option for you. If you recently got these Goggles, please consider the manual which can be found here:  https://www.dji.com/dji-goggles-re/info#downloads
