Hello,

I’m trying to take some quick shots of our new offices which are located on the 21st floor. Tried all of them but kept on getting the same message; “altitude too high”. Is there a way to bypass this?

Strange.  Usually when you have an altitude limit your message is "max altitude reached".  Are you in beginner mode maybe?  Max altitude can be set as high as 500m, but you need to have the mavic powered up to change this setting.  Good Luck.

I have it set to the max. Is there a max altitude for quick shots?

You have to set the max FLIGHT altitude to get there. The Mavic stops at that altitude and won't go any higher before you increase it further.

Yea for some reason quickshots or panos wont work at high altitudes....probably the way dji designed it....various reasons

That’s sad, with they can fix that or at least add cours lock. Or way points

Flydk that is the max altitude for aircraft in general....but yes so you have your main altitude set at 100 feet you would definitely need to change it if you wanted to do a quick shot at a 120ft.... problem is I don't think quick shots and pano's work at that height I tried it.

I was flying at 109 meters up, and around 700m away from me. I guess it’s a little too high. Wish there was an option where you can set the altitude

I hear ya....the message "altitude too high" is def an indication of a limitation...the standard message for max altitude  reached is for if u set your height say at 200 ft and u try to go beyond it will display this....anyway i noticed a few other bugs that need squashing...fir instance if in sport mode and u forget to go back in pmode try to do a pano it will gray camera settings out rendering canera and video buttons useless on app and remote until u reboot the actual aircraft.... another one is if you are in p-mode  and "apas" and try to do a pano it does like 1 or 2 pics then same thing camera turns gray cant do pics or video till u bring ac down and reboot.... come on dji where u at!!! Please fix these bugs!!! Also the distortion algorith that is used for spark should be applied to mav air! So we dont get warped images in corner of pic....spark handles this great

Sorry, didn't see you already wrote that. I also just now noticed that I might have misunderstod your question completely. "Quick Shot" - I took it for granted that you just wanted to take a photo in a given altitude, but then I noticed you mentioned "all of them".

Quickshot only works in P mode, and it needs a strong GPS signal, but I don't understand why you want to use Quickshot at all - there is no point as I see it. Fly manually, take some pictures and record some video.

I’d like to take a dronie shot of our offices and show the skyline behind the building. Couldn’t do that

I’ll test out something today and give my feedback.

Sure, Ill do that as soon as I get home.

Should I upload the crash report? Because the drone crashed at a high altitude while using tapfly at night.

Hello, it seems like the date of the crash was not logged for one reason or another. I have exported all the data, but i cannot see the date which the drone crashed in.

Should I upload the file anyways? It's a huge DAT file btw

It is recommended to update all DAT file and crash logs to Google Drive or Dropbox, then share us the link here, I'll forward to engineers for analysis.

Simply press the red box which states "altitude too high" and it should start the Quickshot

it's a black box that appears on the bottom of the screen.
