Yesterday i tried to take a pano photo indoor, and id did not work. Last time i tried this i got a message saying that shooting was prohibited, but yesterday i had a complete new experience. It looks like it started to take a photo but then the green light on the Air started to blink fast and the image on the phone froze. The connection was lost according to the DJO Go app but it recovered after 3 seconds. This happened every time. I tried to turn the Air off and on again, and the RC also, but the error remained. I tried turning off the front and back sensors but the result was the same. It was in OPTI mode since GPS indoors is not usable.

Since i needed to discharge 2 batteries i tried the pano mode again with the second battery..... and it worked. It produced a pano indoors (quality is another discussion ;)) So indoors the pano mode (180 degree) works, but not very often. Is there any limitation? I would love to be able to take a nice spherical panorama indoors (i will make a roof myself ;)).

I will try to fix the links, but the issue is with the DJI Go app for Android. Reboot the app after compass calibration is needed otherwise the Pano modes do not work correctly, or at all.

Does the issue appear in every flight? Which mobile device do you use? What's the APP version? Please let us know if the links work, thanks!

App version: Android 4.2.6
Phone: Moto G5 Plus with Android 7.0

Yesterday i played with pano shots at night and a longer shutter time (1/2 or longer) crashed the connection every time. Around 1/2 it worked sometimes but not al spheres finished. A shorter shutter time is no issue. During the long exposure the screen on the phone goes to black and white and then it reports the connection lost. Both with the RC and direct Wifi connection.

I'm sorry that the mobile device you referred is not in the recommended list at this moment. Is there any chance change to another recommended mobile device to verify? Thanks for your cooperation.

No, I don't think it is a device issue. I don't have another device to test.
