I live in a land of many shapes and sizes of commercial and sport fishing vessels. Does maritime radar have a vertical angle above which it is safe to assume there will be no interference. At ground level I have had a blast of radar fry my very boat's  lowrance gps antenna (the flat pancake type).  That is a big unit that sits on top of my boat.  Any advice for safe distance horizontal or vetical from maritime radar...  Before I venture out past (not over) those boats with a Mavic Pro or P4P?

Good Question, I know any radar dish puts out a very strong signal, whether it would interfere with the 2.4Gz/5.8Gz signal the RC's use for me is unknown. Will be interesting to follow this one as I frequently fly out over an inlet where many boats with radar cross going in and out of the harbor. So far have not had any problems.
