I know that the warranty period of the Spark battery is 6 months.

I wonder about, if the remaining capacity drops below 80%, is the battery replaced under warranty?
NOTE: Vehicle batteries are covered under warranty for 5 years. For example Renault Zoe batteries. And if the battery capacity drops below 80% during the warranty period, the battery is replaced with a new one.

Hi, if the battery is under warranty, we will recommend users provide the screenshot of the aircraft battery and see if the difference between battery cell is less than 0.1. If it is over 0.1, please contact our support and start a case: http://www.dji.com/support

If there is a variance in the voltage between the cells causing a battery error or if the battery does not function correctly then this is covered under the manufacturer warranty for 6 months or 200 recharge cycles - whichever comes first. The mAh capacity is not covered if you can still use it.

I bought my Spark from an online vendor with a number of pickup locations all over the country (Switzerland). Looking at the receipt, I notice that it says "Warranty 24 months", and nothing else. Now I don't know if DJI or the vendor will have to pay for eventual damages during this period, but I'm quite sure that they can't limit the warranty of certain parts to 12 or 6 months, if it says 2 years on my receipt. But, if DJI's term are 6-12 months, why would a vendor provide a longer warranty than that?

They may have a business arrangement with DJI or they will cover the charges to repair potential defects DJI impose in the second year. A 2 year warranty on a drone is an excellent deal.
