I'm trying since days to connect a wifi repeater 2.4g to my spark to get a better range and a better video with my iPhone SE ,
I'm using a cheap usb repeater that work fine with my others drones. But no way to connect it to the spark ,
The wifi repeater blink blue witch means it is connected to the drone, but when I go the wifi setting to choose the signal "spark+" I see it but cannot connect to it. I tried switching to manual wifi on the spark to get a fix 2.4g channel but still doesn't work, any clue?

Without the/an RC, the range is100 away, 50 high.
With or without router, it is just a wifi connection.
Or is even on iOS the wifi stream bad, these days?

I purchased an app called spark pro , it does unlock range limitations (only range, max altitude is 50m too) , it does support MFI controller, so you feel like having a DJI controller.
With a cheap repeater spark is supposed to reach at least 300 meters

I get 500 metres with parabolic reflectors.
If you don't improve signal reception from spark to rc you're not getting anywhere.

thank you, i tried to follow the xiaomi mi steps, but still doesn't work, very strange, the xiomi mi is 2.4g too

Try changing it to the 5.8ghz

I’m pretty sure the spark is Native 5.8ghz so that maybe the problem, there are also videos on how to change you spark to connect on 2.ghz.
