Finally .... the Pilot App is now available for IOS.....go and get it

Installed on my iPad and tool the P3 Pro outside for a quick test in the dark ... all is good, can't wait till tomorrow.

Does the simulator work?

Im flying in it right now. Its nice to mess with things and not worry. Ive read about the CSC being done in mid air and thought nows the perfect time to try it. After trying CSC at 800 feet, then immediately starting motors back up the only way i could get control is to apply full throttle.....will this work in real world applications, i hope I never find out.

I can't find it on the Apps store, Dji Phantom 3 right?

The app is working great, I also took the P3P out in the dark   Had to give it a try.....everything looked good ..and I have to say it sure holds its position very well...Wooohoooo can't wait until tomorrow...

So I'm here in the North State of California and the wind is blowing, please let it stop by tomorrow morning.
Loaded the app and hope to make my first DJI flight tomorrow.

Just got the app and it still only mentions the Inspire 1. It is version 1.1.1 is this correct ? I don't have my Phantom yet just waiting for delivery.

I think so!  When I uploaded it said Inspire 1 and Phantom 3

I just took mine out in the dark as well. Man what a difference from the vision plus. I like it!

All you lucky folks who already have your Phantom 3 in hand... ;-)

DJI, thanks for keeping your commitment of Wednesday/Thursday of this week.  When will the app be compatible with the iPhone 5?  I do not have an iPad, and currently, the app is only compatible with the iPhone 5s, 6 & 6 Plus.  So, I still can not fly my PH3.  I'd like to avoid having to purchase the Moto G from Best Buy for another $50, and can wait for iPhone 5 support if it's going to only be a short time.  Please try to give at least an estimate.  Thanks!

I have installed the app and connected everything, but the registration-screen as seen in the YouTube-video doesn't come up. Phantom and controller are powered on and I can control the gimbal through the dial.

Any clue what's wrong?

FOUND IT: Firmware Upgrades needed.

Yes the app was release today, however I've tried to install it to my iPad mini 2 and it keeps saying my iPad is not compatible, I have the latest version of iOS 8.3, can any one help

According to this model number, your iPad mini is the first gen not the 2nd. The first is not supported.

we are having the same issues as you did. We connected everything however my iphone 6 doesn't want to connect to phantom 3. I am runing  dji pilot app 1.1.1  on an iphone 6 with 8.1.1 version. What kind of firmware did you install to make it work? The main problem in my case is that the iphone 6 doesn't recognize the dji phantom...if possible please let us know...asap...thank u
