Is there anyway to verify that you are on CE or FCC other than checking the channel bandwidth? I have have heard that you can still be on ce even if the channels display 1-11 channels on the 2.4ghz band.

yes on your phone check country code with a viewer.

If you go to the screen that allows you to select Wi-Fi channel, CE has 13 2.4GHz channels and FCC only has 11.
